One useless, several injured in Paris terror attack

Paris police have launched a terror investigation after one person died and four others were injured by a knifeman Islamic State has claimed is one of its “soldiers”.
Police shot the attacker dead after opening fire on him while he was on the ground suffering from cardiac arrest, according to BFMTV.
The incident happened just before 9pm on Saturday evening in Rue Monsigny in the French capital’s second arrondissement where Paris’s opera and landmark retail stores are located.

A man has died when the car he was driving hit trees and rolled in rural Western Australia. The 30-year-old was travelling along the Cunderdin-Minnivale Road in Watercarrin sometime after midnight on Sunday when his car left the road and crashed, and police say he died at the scene a short time later.
