Inmate escapes from Golden minimum security prison – The Denver Post

Sean Garcia, who was convicted in Rio Blanco County, was less than three months away from his mandatory parole release date when he fled, according to a news release by Mark Fairbairn, spokesman for the Colorado Department of Corrections.
Garcia climbed the perimeter fence at around 8:05 a.m.
Local law enforcement officers were notified about the escape, the news release says, which also notes that Garcia now has a goatee.
