Driver flees state patrol traffic stop on Western Slope, disappears in canal waters

A driver who fled a Colorado State Patrol traffic stop on the Western Slope on foot then jumped into a canal and did not resurface.
The incident happened near Palisade and a search for the man was ongoing Tuesday night, according to the state patrol.
