Massachusetts panel approves “red flag” gun safety invoice, House vote next – The Denver Post

The measure is scheduled for debate by the full House on Wednesday.
Under the proposal, family members could petition a court for an extreme risk protection order if they believe a legal gun owner poses a risk to themselves or others. If the order is granted, the individual could not possess or buy firearms for one year.

Nobody wearing a Rockies uniform gets booed at  Coors Field , the most forgiving ballpark in the major leagues. But Ian Desmond accomplished the feat not once, but three times, while being a total zero with the bat during a shutout loss to the  Los Angeles Angels . Desmond, getting paid $22 million, whiffed four times Wednesday, his ineptitude stranding six runners desperately trying to get something started for a struggling Colorado offense that was blanked for the second time in 14 home games of this young major-league season.
