Invincible Army heading for Royal Ascot rematch | Racing News

James Tate is relishing a potential rematch between Invincible Army and Sands Of Mali in the Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot next month.
The Tate-trained Invincible Army made an impressive start to his three-year-old campaign in the Pavilion Stakes at Ascot at the start of May and was a well-backed favourite to follow up in Saturday’s Sandy Lane Stakes at Haydock.
He ultimately failed to reel in Richard Fahey’s all-the-way winner Sands Of Mali, but there was just a nose between them at the line and Tate is hoping for a different result in Berkshire.
