Frankie Dettori is expecting a “massive run” from Hazapour in the Investec Derby after travelling to Ireland to partner Dermot Weld’s charge in a gallop on Tuesday morning.
Frankie Dettori is expecting a “massive run” from Hazapour in the Investec Derby after travelling to Ireland to partner Dermot Weld’s charge in a gallop on Tuesday morning.
With his stable jockey Pat Smullen having been out of action since late March after being diagnosed with a tumour, Weld has turned to the popular Italian to partner his Derrinstown Stud Derby Trial winner at Epsom.

A man has died when the car he was driving hit trees and rolled in rural Western Australia. The 30-year-old was travelling along the Cunderdin-Minnivale Road in Watercarrin sometime after midnight on Sunday when his car left the road and crashed, and police say he died at the scene a short time later.
