Journalists drenched at Clive Palmer’s new party launch
Clive Palmer has launched his new party under the wave of a rogue parliamentary sprinkler while fending off questions about his financial dealings.
Mr Palmer, who held a seat in Parliament between 2013 and 2016 and whose self-named party held three Senate spots, this morning re-started his political career.
Former One Nation senator Brian Burston has left the party and is now officially the parliamentary representative of the United Australia Party.
