Food truck called Cheesus found after being stolen, but it will take some work to be saved

The What Would Cheesus Do food truck, stolen Sunday night from a warehouse near 53rd Avenue and Bannock Street, has been found, but owner Genevieve Hardin says it will take a lot to save her “divine” grilled cheese sandwich business. Hardin on Tuesday afternoon posted an urgent call on social media to friends and fans of the grilled cheese sandwich stand on wheels, noting that she feared it had been stolen by someone who intended to sell it for parts. She attached a security video of the trailer being towed by what she said “looks to be a scrap truck.” READ MORE....

WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump expressed confidence Tuesday that North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un is “serious” about negotiating over denuclearization, but he acknowledged the possibility that a summit planned for June 12 in Singapore could fall through. “We’re moving along. Inmate escapes from Golden minimum security prison – The Denver Post

Sean Garcia, who was convicted in Rio Blanco County, was less than three months away from his mandatory parole release date when he fled, according to a news release by Mark Fairbairn, spokesman for the Colorado Department of Corrections. Garcia climbed the perimeter fence at around 8:05 a.m. Local law enforcement officers were notified about the escape, the news release says, which also notes that Garcia now has a goatee. A Denver man who shot and killed his neighbor following a drunken argument has been sentenced to 32 years in prison. Aaron Espinosa , 26, in February pleaded guilty to second-degree murder, heat of passion. Espinosa had originally been charged with first-degree murder in the death of 35-year-old Hugo Ramirez, who lived across the hallway in the Loretto Heights apartments at 3400 S. Massachusetts panel approves “red flag” gun safety invoice, House vote next – The Denver Post

The measure is scheduled for debate by the full House on Wednesday. Under the proposal, family members could petition a court for an extreme risk protection order if they believe a legal gun owner poses a risk to themselves or others. If the order is granted, the individual could not possess or buy firearms for one year. Similar red flag bills have been considered in several other states following recent mass shootings including the one that claimed 17 lives at a Florida high school in February. READ MORE.......
